One, People are allowed to have opinions. Just as much as people who like to draw this kind of stuff can pine about how they masturbate to it, people who disagree with it are just as entitled to voice their opinions.
and uh, I really dislike it when people use the DON’T LOOK AT IT defense argument. It’s not like people go looking for this type of material, simple. But it’s come up, and you HAVE to look at it if it’s in your view for the first time ever. You’re going to see it ONE DAY and that’s how you’re going to gain knowledge of it in the first place.
Not only that, but I don’t think it’s the subject matter of the art that irritates people, but rather the fact that this OC is generalized around Lauren Faust herself - the fact that she’s literally said it herself that she would rather pretend that the rule 34 ponies don’t even exist, and yet people would go so far as to draw the character that represents her in this fashion. To me, it’s kind of disrespectful. To others, maybe not so much. But to me, it’s just really annoying and that’s why I agreed with this confession. Because as the person who practically kick started this fandom to begin with, it’s just really.. kjdgjkdfkj. yea. lol
